From the moment he was born, his life was a continued celebration. If he happened to be the first born, he was more important to his father than even his mother was. Special attention and treatment was accorded him. His sisters were less important than he was. The girls did not inherit anything from their father. In fact, they were not regarded as members of the family but of the place they were to get married to.
